Situated in the heart of a forest, just outside the small provencal town of Lambesc, this splendid, spacious and beautifully furnished house (80 m2) on 1 hectare of land, consists of: living room (TV), very well-equipped kitchen (microwave, dish washer, garden doors), 2 bedrooms (2 x 1, 1 x 2), bathroom (bath, wash basin, washing machine, WC). Garden, covered side-terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. The house is situated next to the friendly owner`s house, but has complete privacy. Nearby is the regional park of the Lubron which offers excellent hiking possibilities. Also to be visited: Aix-en-Provence (20 km), Gorges du Verdon (30 min.) and the excellent sandy beaches of the Camargue (50 km).

My husband, sister-in-law, and I stayed here for 2 weeks. The house was very pleasant and well-equipped. We were happy with the quiet setting, and the owners, who live next door, were very helpful with all questions. They came to fetch us at the town square when we lost our way, and did not rest until they had resolved a problem with the heater. We will gladly return to this pleasant maisonette in one of the most beautiful parts of France!

The house was situated at the top of a hill next to the owners in the middle of a protected forest. Although we speak little french and the owners speak little english, they were very pleasant and the cottage was perfect for us. The scenery was so restful and we felt at home straight away. There were plentiful brochures of places to visit in one of the dresser drawers and these were very useful. Our favourite visit was to Le Bambousserie, Europes largest Bamboo forest. This was about an hour or so away but was well worth it and a highlight of our holiday.
The house was spacious and just the right size for our family. We would love to visit it again hopefully next year. Because of the remote location, the water pressure had to be re-primed occasionally, but this was not a hardship once you knew what was happening.
The landlady was really pleasant and on our departure made everything clear regarding electricity usage etc.
